Proverbs 5

This chapter is talking about men and women and marriage. I think we can apply this to other relationships in our lives. Look not only at the surface, but what is below. I have meet people who were very nice and caring on the surface. Once I got to know them, I found they were filled with anger and resentment. I have also known people who asked for my help, but their actions told a different story. These people are the most difficult for me to deal with. They sit and tell me all the bad things that have happened in their lives and if they could just get a break things would turn around. However all they do is talk. When it comes time to do something, they want no part of it. They start blaming me. They tell me I don't understand them. These are the people to stay away from.
Here is another point. Jesus tells us to reach out to the lost. How do we stay away and reach out at the same time? A friend told me the lost are like a person who fell out of a boat into the water. We need to give them a life ring and hold onto the rope, but we never get in the water with them
