Proverbs 29

The fear of human opinion disables; trusting in God protects you from that. Proverbs 29:25 The Message

I am not a bible scholar. I have never attended bible college. I could have let the fear of what people might think stop me from writing this blog. I thought about letting it stop me. I am not the best at spelling. What if people want to stone me for writing something heretical. OK, maybe they won't stone me, but they might get really mad. I am just a guy who through the grace of God has made it 37 years on this earth. My trust in God won (this time). It has been great. There are people who actually read what I have been writing. Some people have posted comments and others have come up to me at church.

I am glad I didn't let the fear of human opinion stop me from writing. I wonder what great things I have missed because I was afraid. What has God called you to do, but you have been to afraid to do?
