Proverbs 27

A spoken reprimand is better than approval that's never expressed. Proverbs 27:5 The Message

How often do we forget to tell people we appreciate them? When was the last time you told a friend you like what they have done for you. When was the last time you told a family member how much they have helped you? I think it is sad to think some people only hear reprimands. I have worked for people who never had anything good to say. If things were going good I never heard or saw them. As soon as something went wrong, here they came. They were nice people who I liked to talk to outside of work. I soon began to feel like I didn't want to see these people at all. When I did talk to them, we never talked about the ten things that were under budget. We talked about the one item over budget.

Reprimands are necessary in life. We are not perfect. We are going to make mistakes. We need to have them pointed out to us or we will not grow. We will not grow if we are not fed. Make sure today you say something good to everyone you meet.
