Proverbs 23

Dear child, I want your full attention; please do what I show you. Proverbs 23:26 The Message

I stopped reading at this verse. I had to look at my life. What is my daughter going to learn from my actions? Will she see Godly actions or worldly actions? How much do my actions differ from my words?

Lisa's grandfather, Ron Eckert, passed away last week. At the funeral his wife told us his last words, "Make sure the grandchildren know my testimony." Ron was a small man who made a large and quiet impact on this earth. You will never find his name is any news accounts. You will never find a statue with his name on it. His actions will stay with me forever. His last breath was used to make sure this family was saved. Can any greater thing be said about any of us?
