Searching for it (wisdom) like a prospector panning for gold, like an adventurer on a treasure hunt .

If you were going on a treasure hunt, would you just take off one day or would you prepare
before you left. I would want a map, food, water, equipment, and company. I have lost count the number of times I have searched for God in my quite time and made no preparations at all. It is like shooting darts with a blindfold on. You would get better results if you looked where you are going.
So what does all this stuff mean? What is a map, food, water, equipment, and company? Your map is your bible. Food and water is the Word of God. Equipment are your spiritual gifts. Company is your small group. The more you read your bible and the more you study the Word of God, the more you will get out of it. When you focus on God, you will be able to see where he is leading you. You will start to see the holes in the road and start walking around them.
Never go anywhere without your crew. They might be your small group, the might be a couple of close friends. They must be your closest circle of friends. One person can be right all the time. As a group doing life together you will see more of the holes in the road.
